Disclaimer for My Estate Life App

My Estate Life is a digital tool designed to assist communities, estates, residential buildings, and their residents in managing everyday interactions and accessing information efficiently. By using the My Estate Life app (“the App”), you acknowledge and agree to the following disclaimers and limitations of liability:

  1. Third-Party Service Providers (Services feature in-app)

Service providers listed or recommended in the App, including but not limited to plumbers, electricians, contractors, or domestic workers, are added at the discretion of community managers, managing agents, or estate staff.

Neither My Estate Life, nor any estate, community, building, managing agent, or community manager endorses, verifies, or accepts any responsibility for the quality, conduct, pricing, availability, or outcomes of any service provided.

All engagements with such service providers are at the resident’s own risk. No listed party shall be held liable for damages, losses, or dissatisfaction resulting from their use.

  1. Facility Listings and Bookings (Facilities feature in-app)

The App provides a platform for residents to view and book communal facilities such as pools, clubhouses, or sports courts. These listings, schedules, and associated rules are managed by the relevant estate or community team.

My Estate Life, estates, communities, buildings, managing agents, and community managers are not responsible for:

  • The maintenance, safety, or availability of facilities.

  • Conflicts, errors, or disputes regarding bookings.

  • Losses, damages, or injuries resulting from facility use.

All use of facilities is at the resident’s own discretion and risk, and subject to local rules and availability.

  1. Emergency Contacts (Emergency feature in-app)

Emergency contacts displayed in the App (e.g., security, ambulance, fire, or police) are uploaded and maintained by the estate or managing agent.

No guarantee is made by My Estate Life, or any estate, community, building, managing agent, or community manager regarding:

  • The accuracy or completeness of contact details.

  • The availability or responsiveness of listed emergency services.

  • The outcome of any attempt to contact such services.

In the event of an emergency, residents are advised to also use official national emergency numbers directly.

  1. Panic Button Feature (Emergency Feature in-app)

The Panic Button is designed to assist residents by attempting to alert on-site security during an emergency. It relies on device performance, connectivity, system configurations, and response personnel availability.

However, My Estate Life, and all associated estates, communities, buildings, managing agents, and community managers make no guarantees regarding:

  • Successful delivery of the panic signal.

  • Timeliness or reliability of response by security personnel.

  • The effectiveness of any assistance provided.

This feature is intended to assist - not replace - standard emergency protocols. No party shall be held liable for any outcome resulting from delayed, failed, or ineffective panic responses.

  1. General Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Estate Life, estates, communities, buildings, managing agents, and community managers disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or attempted use of the App and its features.

This includes - but is not limited to - errors, omissions, service interruptions, data loss, third-party behaviour, or technical failures.
